Plaster Relief, 100 x 300 cm
This plaster relief is made from casts taken from the natural surroundings of Jerusalem. It is part of Journey, an exhibition I curated following a two-day trip with 11 artists along the road to Jerusalem, through Sha’ar HaGai. During the journey, we made work, talked, and shared meals. We stayed at the Benedictine Monastery in Abu Gosh, dear friends of mine.
The artists and I created works inspired by this shared experience, and these works will be exhibited together. My intention was to create an exhibition that grows organically, מתוך a joint experience among all the participating artists. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, videos, and photographs.
