Samson the Hero is a monumental concrete triptych that reimagines the biblical figure of Samson through the lens of contemporary experience. Depicting the carrying of the gates of Gaza, the struggle with the lion, and Samson’s final act, the work explores the tension between strength and vulnerability, power and loss. Drawing on the visual language of historical relief sculpture and biblical imagery, the triptych reflects on identity, violence, memory, and the enduring relevance of myth in times of uncertainty.
